A Look at the Wedding Traditions that Define Us |

You
know that some lucky couple is tying the knot and making it official
whenever you hear those chapel bells on Sundays. A wedding is one of
the most memorable times in our lives. We love the massive cake, the
Champagne, the jovial crowd and the wonderful wedding traditions.
These
are just some of the things we look forward to on that day of perfect
bliss. We can all envision the soon-to-be bride pacing softly towards
her one true love and the father giving her away as the two souls
become one with the exchange of rings. Are you also preparing for your
wedding day?
The ceremony, the honeymoon, and the pre-celebration are part of the wedding traditions we enjoy. Many men look forward to the pre-celebration part. The soon-to-be groom and his buddies enjoy throwing the bash. The bachelor party is a king amongst wedding traditions. It is a lot of fun even if it may not be a literal aspect of the wedding.
I've been to a few bachelor parties in my day. Two of the most memorable was my brother's and my best friend’s. Let me tell you that these were two of the craziest bashes I've ever witnessed. There is usually a group of guys, booze, and maybe a few "dancers" in a typical bachelor party.
This celebration is about friendship and letting go of the single lifestyle. Contrary to popular belief, it's not about getting buck wild with the "dancers." The women have their versions of this as well. I’ve heard that they lounge about sipping tea and nibbling on crumpets on their own version of the bachelor party.
The honeymoon is probably the most popular among the wedding traditions. Well, at least it is definitely my favorite. This part is about the couple being together for a whopping two weeks or so. Most couples spend a major part of their wedding budget in this tradition.
This is the most personal among all the wedding traditions. This is the tradition that's solely meant for the bride and groom. The honeymoon is also about getting pampered, lounging about, and dining at the finest eateries. Couples should pay a lot of attention to their honeymoon when it comes to wedding traditions.
